What Indalo Today is
A free website to discover plans, places and events in the province of Almería. We gather information from public sources (official websites, town halls, organisers) and from the plans sent to us by businesses, associations and individuals, which we review before publishing. Each imported plan names its source and, when the source says it, when it was last updated. Naming a source does not mean it endorses Indalo Today.
We do our best to keep the information accurate, but dates, times and prices may change without notice. Before you go, check them with whoever organises the plan or runs the place.
Plans you send us
- By sending a plan you confirm that it is real and that you have the right to share its texts, photos and poster, or permission from whoever has it.
- You give us permission, free of charge and non-exclusively, to publish that content on the Indalo Today website and its social media (such as Instagram), and to adapt it: shorten, summarise or translate it, or turn it into a post.
- On the website, the plan shows while it is current. Social media posts may stay there afterwards, as part of our listings. If you would rather we did not use your photos on social media, or want a post taken down, write to us at indalotoday@gmail.com and we will do it.
- We may edit, reject or remove a plan, following the criteria in Content reports and moderation. Publishing it is free and creates no commercial relationship.
- You are responsible for what you send us. If someone tells us that some content infringes their rights, we will review it and remove it if they are right.
Content reports and moderation
- Point of contact for authorities and users (articles 11 and 12 of the EU Digital Services Act, Regulation (EU) 2022/2065): indalotoday@gmail.com. We answer in Spanish and English.
- Anyone can tell us about content they believe is illegal or infringes their rights with the form Report a problem, which is also on every plan. For us to act, the report must say which page it is, why it is a problem and who is reporting it (except for child sexual abuse, which can be reported anonymously), with a statement of good faith. If you leave your email, we confirm we have received it and tell you what we decided.
- How we decide. A person from the team reviews every report, and every proposed plan before publishing it. Artificial intelligence only helps to tidy up and translate texts; it does not decide what is published or removed. We remove or correct content that is illegal or breaks these terms: false, out-of-date or misleading plans, plans outside the province of Almería, texts or images shared without the right to do so, personal data without permission, hidden advertising, and content that incites hatred or violence.
- If we remove or change a plan you sent us, we tell you by email why, on what basis and how to complain: reply to that email and we will review the decision again. You can also go to the courts.
- If a report points to a crime that threatens someone's life or safety, we inform the authorities.
Plans suggested with artificial intelligence
To understand what you are looking for and suggest an itinerary, we use an artificial intelligence model. Its suggestions are for guidance only: they may contain mistakes and do not replace the official information of each plan.
Links to other websites
We link to third-party websites (organisers, maps, ticket sales) over which we have no control.
Intellectual property
The design, original texts and code of Indalo Today belong to its owner. Third-party photographs are shown with their author and licence (for example, those from Wikimedia Commons). Map and opening-hours data come partly from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the ODbL licence. Some descriptions of places have been written from Wikipedia articles, available under the CC BY-SA 4.0 licence. The page of some places cites their record in the Patrimonio Inmueble catalogue of the Andalusian Institute of Historical Heritage (IAPH), Junta de Andalucía, under the CC BY licence: whether the site is protected, the link to its record in the Digital Guide and the date we read it. Some descriptions of places are adapted from the description of their record in that Guide, also under CC BY, and the page says so. That data is kept apart from the OpenStreetMap data, never mixed with it, and citing it does not mean that the IAPH or the Junta de Andalucía endorse this website. To relate one source with another we use Wikidata (CC0).
If you believe any content infringes your rights, write to us at indalotoday@gmail.com and we will look into it.
